How we verify

Four checks before anyone gets a listing

Anyone can call themselves a phlebotomist online. Here, nobody shows up in search until these four checks pass.

  1. Step 1

    National certification

    We confirm ASCP, NHA or AMT certification directly with the issuing body, not from an uploaded photo.

  2. Step 2

    State license

    California, Louisiana, Nevada and Washington license phlebotomists. In those states, we check the license too.

  3. Step 3

    Liability insurance

    A current certificate of insurance stays on file for every listed practice.

  4. Step 4

    Rechecked yearly

    Every check runs again at renewal. A lapsed credential comes off the site until it's current.
